H.H.A.Beach Romance for Violin and Piano

H.H.A.Beach or Amy Beach dedicated this Romance to her teacher Maud Powell the most recognition violin prodigy, and composed for the opening ceremony for the Woman's Building in 1893. Those who heard the Romance played that day by the pianist with the large smiling expressive face were never more convinced that "there is no gender in music" The "beauty and grace" of the composition and the "faultless interpretation by the brilliant composer and artist" were proof enough for these listners.

Female

Amy Beach is a famous female composer during the 18th century. She's a child prodigy following her teacher, Maud Powell. She composed this piece for women from a woman, to express herself as a female composer, who is capable to be as sentimental with music as men.

Feminist is the message I would like to communicate through this piece. Feminists quite being complicated to people in this present world, whether they are good or not, and also women could be tough and strong like a man. They don't always be weak or unreasonable all the time, so I would like to tell the story about feminists in this performance.
